Dedicated lens for every LED

Each LED has an individual lens arrangement ensuring the most efficient extraction and distribution of light from the LED surface. At high mounting heights excellent optical performance can make significant improvements to illumination levels and uniformity providing long term energy savings not apparent from headline luminaire lumen output figures alone.

The high efficiency control gear coupled with the latest medium power LEDs produce up to 148 luminaire lumens per circuit watt (including all gear losses). 4000K colour temperature as standard, other colours available to special order.

WIRELESS LIGHTING CONTROL

The factory fitted addition of a Smart TR transceiver introduces the latest “mesh” wireless technology and replaces the wired Motionline communication signals between luminaires with sophisticated, trouble free wireless transmissions. Each transceiver can be individually programmed with a Smart Programmer, during commissioning, and assigned to work exclusively within a particular building, or group created within that building.

868 Mhz Wavelength 2.4 Ghz Wavelength

Operational frequency 868Mhz - relatively long wavelength compared to common 2.4Ghz systems - provides greater distance and penetration of signals.

Smart TR Transceiver

Intelligent algorithm with low transmission of data –
transmits less than 1% of total time (99% of time wireless is off) – reduces wireless traffic increasing reliability.

Mesh network –
data can be transmitted from one device to another ensuring high signal reliability.

Good connectivity –
software uses simple wait before transmit logic to ensure error free transmissions.

Smart Programmer used for commissioning –
simple, fast, individual, setting of operational parameters from ground level.

Available in most Thorlux Smart fittings, including the Smart External range –
seamless introduction of wireless communication to a Smart System.

CUSTOMISE YOUR DETECTION AREA

Smart Sensor

The new high level Smart Sensor is optimised for mounting heights up to 18m. An adjustable lens allows for the detection area to be tuned to suit the application perfectly. The use of advanced Thorlux Smart technology ensures LEDs are only powered when required and when on are optimised to provide the correct light level and corresponding power demand. Settings can be configured from ground level using the Smart Programmer.

EMERGENCY LIGHTING YOU CAN RELY ON

Advances in LED driver technology make it possible to operate hundreds of LEDs from a small battery pack during a mains failure. It makes sense to use the same LEDs for mains and emergency operation in high level luminaires; installing only one point and retaining the same optical performance from the high quality lenses in both mains and mains failure situations.

Solow XLED is also available in both AutoTest and Scanlight AT variants.
