Thorlux Lighting LLC based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates is a new division of F.W. Thorpe PLC, created to strengthen our presence in the Middle East region. We are looking to strengthen our team with a dedicated employee in line with the following requirements:
To develop, implement and execute our marketing and sales strategy within the UAE market.
To achieve all issued annual sales targets and relevant KPIs.
To support a network of agents, contractors, end-users and, from time to time, engineering consultants, lighting designers, interior fit-out companies and architects.
Help to cultivate a demand for all seven of the FW Thorpe Group lighting companies.
To be able to support customers with basic lighting designs using Dialux/Relux/Autocad as and when required.
To ensure new products are fully introduced to all target customers.
To conduct relevant product training for our customer base.
To accurately maintain CRM project and customer database on a daily basis to ensure that the project/account statuses are always up to date.
To gain knowledge of customer requirements to feedback to the business.
To assist with the General Manager by having an active role in new product development within the business.
To liaise with the necessary all parties when local sales opportunities fall outside the UAE.
To liaise with various departments within the Company to ensure satisfactory customer support/backup.
To observe Health & Safety regulations and encourage others to do so.
To carry out any task delegated by the General Manager - UAE.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical and commercial sales role, heavily involved in lighting products.
Engineering degree or similar qualification is a preference.
Experience in electrical installation is a preference.
Thorough knowledge of LED technology and at least a basic understanding of lighting controls is a must.
High degree of self-motivation, independence and willingness to travel.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must.
Fluency in English is a must and Arabic language is a preference.
Must reside currently within the UAE. Abu Dhabi residents are a preference.
